THE KNOWING

Apologies beforehand...
This vid has been making me want to put 35c randos on and go jump off stuff on my pista. Too bad I tried and there's no clearance... :-(

Sorry for the bike nerd-ery, I know there's mixed feelings amongst this crowd, but I think this vid (aside from Tom LaMarche's goofy little monologue at the end) hits the spot: riding bikes with your friends is fun.

Fixed 3 from Charge Bikes on Vimeo.

Just filed my taxes and I'm trying to get on this cute little GTB I found in Seattle. Got a set of Zipp T2s laced to Nisi Laser tubies begging me for a classy trackie with a skinny tubeset.

ENOUGH OF THE BIKES ALREADY. I APOLOGIZE TO ANYONE THAT WAS BORED BY THIS. Go get on a bike, you'll get it soon enough.

MeTube is Broke
Posted my first video to Youtube today. It was a little something I made back in college for a digital art class. My teacher was concerned, and the squares were freaked out.

Got to admit, it's getting better...
Weather's improving slowly, definitely not surely though. Yesterday I took a break from work and bombed down broadway in the glorious sun from midtown, hit all the green lights and kept a smile on me face, it was great. Today however we have lovely "wintry mix" and sideways wind which is lame-o.

I was in Stowe and Burlington VT the last week hittin the hill with the fam and seeking typhoid vaccination for Thailand, both worked out pretty well. FYI never take the Vermonter Amtrak - that shit took 9 and a half hours from Penn Station NYC, it takes less time to drive from MARYLAND. shit. It was cheap, I guess what with tolls and whatnot avoided.

Anyway, the shred was good, unfortunately no pics there. The trip did yield one keeper though.

More to come, hopefully of the city. Still looking forward to getting outta here... t-minus... 3 and a half months I guess, shit.

Hope y'all are well.

JUMBO-PACK
silly me, i live in ore-gan

to talk bike nerd for a minute, anybody following the tour of california? i'm not actually, but i have been really interested in the mash and rapha rides. i find it really motivating that these guys are running the race course non-competitively and especially that the mash guys are doing it all fixed. the part that really gets me is this kid walton. i don't really know him but i've talked to him at a race and i know he's part of the scene in portland. it's just crazy to realize that he is doing this ride with the mash guys. makes a ride/effort like this seem do-able.

let's get them dreams did.
