Ok, I'm gonna do this once and only once. This is the bike I'm riding. Scope the invisible brake cable on the rear brake. That is custom as fuck son, like it had to be invented custom. Unfortunately it's just an aesthetic thing, and actually renders teh rear brake useless. Single speed, no toe clips (flip-flop friendly custom deisgn). Generic gum wall tires, oh baby baby.



Other than that, got about a week left on this build. 8 hours a day with a pneumatic ring clamper and several thousand feet of aircraft cable, oh boy. Put an ad up for some comedy writng buddies, public access maybe. Finally found out where the art supply store is, so I'm gonna get some paper this week for zine covers. umm... Art openings are all the rage here, so I been to a puppet show at the CAM.

Went to a lame party where guitar hero was central (lame).

Hello, my fellow Alaskans...

The shit weather has me staying inside when I'm not out playing gofer for the poker dudes or at Gotham Mondays and Saturdays, so Netflix is getting a lot of action as is my computer and the nyc fixed forums. Unfortunately the creative juices have stagnated. I am in total downswing mode and it's totally the wrong way to start the year, I know. I'm about to hit Vermont for some down time, it's all the snowboarding I'll get this year so I'mma go hard. Comin up in March I'm hitting Hong Kong and Thailand with my girl for her spring break vacay, should be a mind-blower as Asia usually is. A few more weeks then she's done with school, which brings me to...

A move back to the 604? Right now that's where we're headed... originally Portland or Seattle were the targets, but the generally jolly Canadian disposition and socialized medicine (for her woman needs) has her eyes set surprisingly back on the old digs in Van. I'm really hoping we can work it out, I dunno much about Visa-getting and the Canadian Immigration website is a jumblefuck of an explanation (any help here is welcome, otherwise I'm hittin the consulate up). It'll be nice to get some nature back in my life that's not in a self-contained human zoo in midtown, I'm really looking forward to it. And riding bikes there is so much more enjoyable, holy shit.

Speaking of bikes, my '09 Concept frame should be in this week, finally, after four months of waiting... All the parts for the build have migrated back to the shop so I'm set to build it up as soon as it's in next week. For those who care...
