Christ... just got back from a ride through midtown during lunch hour traffic... holy shit man. People here really just do not use their fucking eyes. At all, for serious. I rode 7 blocks cross town and 50 blocks uptown to meet my girl for lunch, then hit broadway through Times Square to get back.
Incident #1 - Mercedes clips my back wheel as it turns left behind me, almost lost it and rode into some construction workers.
Incident #2 - While track standing at a red light due to a cop sitting just opposite the intersection, a fat ass man walks directly into the side of me and no I'm not in the cross walk.
Incident #3 - While standing in front of a motherfucking wall, a security guard asks me to stop "blocking the entrance" to where Arianna works and subsequently calls for backup while ten feet away along the same wall two messengers lean their bikes against the glass and three other people smoke in front of an open door.
Incident #4 - Light has just turned green for me, and yet this guy thinks he's gonna make his crossing, comes barreling off the sidewalk full speed into the side of me causing me to tip over and almost get run over by the car behind me, spilling his coffee all over himself and my back wheel.
This is in addition to all the idiots going the wrong way down the bike lane, countless people just strolling through the bike lane in midtown wondering why people bother with the crowded sidewalks when there's a perfectly paved area where no one seems to be walking for some reason, and cabs trying to sandwich me in between the big friendly box truck sitting in the bike lane and his drivers side door. FUCK. I sweat not from the work out of riding, it's fucking flat here and I run 49x17. I sweat my fucking ass off because I have to watch for morons trying to kill me at every goddamn corner. I miss mashin around Vancouver care free and stoned out of my goddamn mind.

nosebleeds two is just a day off. i tryed to print twice today and got cockblocked. good day nonetheless. i packaged up part of a little lovebomb bound for a special home in VA. will trade rain for smokes.

Looks like these dropped a little over a month ago... which is why I can't find a 10.5 anywhere, but sheeeyut. Hopefully some danker colorways to come, and I bet they'll need to stiffen up the sole a bit, looks a bit floppy. I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of nice integration of a ratcheting strap and maybe a SIDI style achilles-grabber. Looks like they'll take Crank Bros. eggbeater cleats too. Mmm... fashion meets function. It's a beautiful thing. Maybe. What up Portland, Holla!!
