THE KNOWING

North Korean Propoganda
is totally insane. This is produced by the government, by the way. Some really interesting stuff though.

Some scary shit.

WHERE THE OTHER POSTERS AT!?

Korean Keirin
So this was pretty fun the other day. Hanging out with old guys sitting around betting all day. Next time I'll try my hand at betting, they give you little race schedules with the racer's stats including 200m sprint times and race records, which I didn't figure out until just before I left. Excuse the crappy photos, but they look alright at 500 pixel width eh?

New Alphabet
So once again, my future's hangin on a kite string and suffers the whims of the winds. Still waiting on news of my visa, apparently La Bicicletta didn't attempt to submit my paperwork until December 30, so I have to wait until the 14th to hear if anyone better qualified than me applied, in which case I'm SOL. Hopefully that won't be the case, and then my paperwork can be submitted and then we wait to hear from the government to see if they think I'm alright. I'm attempting to re-enter Canada the 28th via YVR, who knows if it'll be done before (I think we all know it won't, god love the government) so hopefully I won't run into any trouble there (yup, I'm sure I will). Anyway, as usual this has me nice and stressed out.

In the meantime, went to Gwangmyeong Speedom Velodrome just outside of Seoul yesterday to watch some Korean Keirin, it was a great time. I'll throw some pics up when I get a chance, but not many were worthy of posting - they didn't like flash photography and my poor little point and shoot is showing its age these days.

Anyway, take the time to be entertained by this little doozy and find out what type (as in type face, or font) you are. I'm "New Alphabet," a Dutch typeface, and I don't know how I feel about that, but the site is great.

NSFW, but who's working?

Lots of snow here in Seoul, and due to the government seemingly not giving a fuck about taking care of the streets, it's ridiculous to go outside. Oh well. Speedom Velodrome just outside Seoul in Gwangmyeong this weekend for some Korean style Keirin racing (and betting!) at the biggest indoor velodrome in Asia. STOKED. In the meantime, enjoy some internet gems. Also, if any of you in Van want some Holdfast straps, hit PGT up and I'll bring them when I get back at the end of January. It'll be sooner than they'll get their act together, fo sho.
